Foodbuzz is for lovers.

I know you've all been on the edge of your seats waiting to hear how the amazing foodbuzz festival went this weekend, so I'll go ahead and give it to you straight.  There are some flippin sweet bloggers out there.  I am talking, down to earth, talented, funny, and did I mention talented, bloggers out there!

I have to say the best part about the festival all together was meeting all of these amazing bloggers.  Ones I have read for awhile, and new ones that I can't wait to follow alike.

The weekend started off with a street food cocktail hour, with lots of local Bay Area fair, and plenty of wine.  So, you know I was happy.  Oh, by the way, this little television network, called the food network, was there taping.  Ya know, no big deal.
uh, them are cupcakes...

My new buddies, Ash and Lew!

Emily, Ash, Veronica, Teri, Lindsey and Cate!
Saturday was chock full of activities: break out sessions in the morning where we learned how best to set goals for ourselves and our blog, photography tips and even a cooking demo by Chef Mary Sue Milliken.  Oh you don't know her? Iron Chef America people.

Chef of Border Grill, and overall Badass Female.

Then during the afternoon they had a tasting pavillion where all of the sponsors of the festival came to present their food.  There was wine. again.  I even got to bring a friend with me, Secret Agent Guest Blogger Sarah!

Just a little tasting fair

Team Sauce. Back in action AGAIN!

Sammy the Salmon

Sorr, Sammy. You tasted good.

My favorite painted lady of all!

Saturday night was the gala.  Yeas, it was as Klassy as it sounds.  The Ferry building was turned into near wedding worthy shape, and we enjoyed a 4 course meal.  Yeas, there were wine pairings.
And the farewell brunch wrapped the entire event up, where we all hugged our new bff's goodbye and exchanged contact info, sure to follow up with each other immediately upon leaving Sir Frances Drake via twitter, like all committed bloggers do.

bringing the outdoors, in.  Someone is after my heart.

the butternut squash puree, my favorite part of the meal for sure.

The lone fig.

Overall, it is amazing what a community the foodbuzz food bloggers are, and I am honored to be a part of it.  When someone comes up to you and says "Whitney, I know you!"  It literally makes your heart jump.  You know me? Because shit I read your blog everyday!!!!!

What warms my heart even more, is that you can move thousands of miles away, and pick up like you just saw each other last night.  I'll leave you with the rendezvous that is, Sarah and Whit.

Georgia wuz here.

Calling all O'Keefes!

Pensive city views

Flappin' in the wind.
